Sumitra Hospital has earned both NABH (in just 10 months) and NABL (within 6 months of
applying) in a record time period.
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers
NABH is the highest body for accreditation body in India, which is at par with international standards hospital accreditation. There are more than 600 elements for the hospital to achieve, in order to get itself NABH accredited.
The hospital should have strong processes for all aspects, be it registration, admission, treatment, billing, discharge, follow-ups etc., to comply with standard fundamentals. In other words, the hospital has to streamline all its process, in order to get NABH certificate.
National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories
NABL is the highest accreditation laboratory service in India. It keeps a check on the hospital’s protocols and procedure to maintain technical competencies such as tests, procedures or any data supplied by its laboratory. Thus, assuring patients that the data provided, is accurate and reliable.
